The First International Award for Petra Acitya
By the grace of God, Petra Acitya Christian Junior High School got its first international achievement just one day before the 70th anniversary of PPPK Petra. They created a simple stove from waste cans for the families in rural areas who still use traditional firewood stove. UNDERSTANDING STUDENTS’ PROFILE FOR PERSONALIZED LEARNING PATH
Petra Acitya’s specialty is to give our students the freedom to choose some of their learning subjects as we believe that every student has their right to learn according to their interests. December is the month of joy and happiness because Petra Acitya celebrated the Feast to the Nativity which was held from December 4 until 16, 2020. A Pledge To Serve Wholeheartedly
Student organization is a great place to learn soft skills, teamwork, leadership and build network. Therefore, since the first year of their study in Petra Acitya, students are encouraged to join Student Council or Student Ministry Team. From 97 students in Petra Acitya, 36 of them enrolled in the selection process. 25 students could complete the document selection and joined the interview selection. Then, these students joined the Student Leadership Online Training by PPPK Petra Directorate of Education together with the other Petra Junior High Schools’ students. Celebrating the anniversary of East Java Province, East Java National Commission of Education (Komnasdik) held Jatim Education Competition 2020. There were several competitions for elementary, junior and senior high school students. Petra Acitya Christian Junior High School joined the scientific writing (Karya Tulis Ilmiah – KIR) competition. The theme was Building A Strong Creative Reading and Writing Ecosystem in School during the Covid-19 Pandemic. Petra Acitya Cultural Festival
Petra Acitya Christian Junior High School conducted some fun activities for the students in a series of cultural festival called Petra Acitya Cultural Festival that was held from October 8th to 13th, 2020. During the festival, the students were enjoying some activities related to Korean, Chinese, Indonesian and English Language and Culture. The festival became more interesting as the students performed their group project which combined dancing, music and monologue about some Indonesian traditional songs. The Seeds Of Hope Petra Acitya Student Orientation 2020/2021
Petra Acitya Christian Junior High School has gladly welcomed 97 students in the 2020/2021 academic year. Monday, July 13th was a great day for all Petra Acitya’s family members. Celebrating Indonesian Independence Day At Home With Petra Acitya
Petra Acitya Christian Junior High School celebrated Indonesian Independence Day with Virtual Competitions on August 5-12. Students could participate in. Poster Competition, National Song Singing Competition, Patriotic Poem or Dance Tik-Tok Challenge. All the competitions were done from home and students could show their performance on Instagram.
